Job Description
Join Our Team at voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak! As a CNC Machinist, you will operate CNC machines and related equipment to ensure proper cleaning and preparation of castings, perform accurate inspections to maintain quality standards, and have a strong understanding of G-code programming.
Requirements
- College degree in manufacturing technology or programming is preferred or equivalent experience including CNC programming experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience operating multi-axis CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of G-code programming and the ability to read, modify, and troubleshoot code.
- Familiarity with M-code programming is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
