Accounting Specialist

Voices is seeking an Accounting Specialist to maintain accurate financial records and support accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering accounts payable, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and preparing reports. The role requires a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable/payable or general accounting role
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
