Job Description
The Painter position is responsible for all aspects of painting both the interiors and exteriors of structures, buildings, and other surfaces. This position will select the appropriate materials for each project and properly prepare surfaces and surrounding areas prior to painting.
Requirements
- Read blueprints, instructions, and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding and covering fixtures
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old paint, and taping off areas as required
