Job Description
We are currently searching for experienced Senior level and entry level CEI Inspectors to support our Southeast Region located in Atlanta, GA.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction
- OR An Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering Degree
- Knowledge of GDOT specifications and standards and typical practices for highway construction.
- Ability to read and comprehend roadway construction plans.
- Have, or be able to earn, the following certifications: GDOT F/CON, GDOT WECS, GSWCC Level 1A, Advanced Traffic Control
- Flexibility to work daytime shifts primarily, with occasional night and weekend shifts
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Valid driver’s license.
- A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
- If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role.
