Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our team at Volta Labs. As a key member of the Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling, calibrating, and testing our Instrument from top to bottom. The role requires attendance during normal working hours and involves working with moderately difficult electromechanical systems. You will also be responsible for packaging and shipping the machine to customer labs, adding support for building consumables, and authoring new and updating existing SOPs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience debugging and repairing electrical components using soldering irons and multimeters
- Proficiency with electrical reworks such as cable repairs, and surface mount and through hole PCB reworks
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets, creating, manipulating, and using for data analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency developing work instructions, documenting testing procedures and processes
