Compression Mechanic

The Compression Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment that compresses natural gas, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks and complex repairs related to the CNG fuel system, engine components, and vehicle systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal education or technical training in automotive mechanics or a related field
• Specialized training in CNG systems and technologies
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of CNG fuel systems, engine components, and vehicle electronics
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret diagnostic codes
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various tasks in a mechanical environment
