This position assists and provides field operation and technical assistance, operating equipment and systems, with a focus on hands-on, precise operation.
Requirements
- Ability to work rotational schedule, including long and/or occasionally irregular hours, holidays
- Ability to work throughout North America
- Must understand proper use of basic tools
- Must be willing to develop a working knowledge of fleet equipment
- Ability to trouble shoot and work through problems efficiently
- Moderate use of hand and power tools to work with and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Be able to complete certifications on multiple pieces of company owned or leased machines
- Mechanically inclined
- Understanding of simple electronics and electrical equipment is beneficial
- Will be required to complete all training including Flash Arc Training and Basic Electrical Safety Training as provided
- Must properly use ladders and safety harnesses
- Must be able to determine appropriate level of personal protective equipment (PPE) needed for the specific assigned task
- Must possess the ability to self-supervise on daily tasks and metrics
- Ability to work with a team and standalone for multiple hours
- Must present equipment, tools, and self in an orderly and tidy manner
- Be available by phone while on scheduled rotation
- Able to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner as well as maintain a clean driving record
- Comply with all safety standards and procedures
- Oversee safety and environmental requirements while operating equipment onsite along with assisting with incident response and investigations as needed
- On time completion of all assigned training
- Promotes ethical behavior in all aspects of the business and lead by example
- Computerliterate with the ability to utilize online forms/automation
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor
