Job Description
We are building Ora ā a connected device ecosystem for professional electrical installers and homeowners. The Lead Engineer must design and build a cloud-optional, minimal-footprint backend architecture for Phase 1, which launches with a strict privacy-first, local-first philosophy, and lay the foundations for Phase 2, which expands into full cloud connectivity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend engineering experience
- Proven experience designing and shipping a connected device backend
- Deep understanding of IoT communication protocols
- Security-first engineering mindset
- Strong command of C# and.NET 10
- Production-grade PostgreSQL
- Redis for real-time state, pub/sub, and session management
