Community Engagement Manager

Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to lead the development, coordination, and implementation of strategic community engagement, outreach, and partnership initiatives. The role will strengthen survivor access to culturally responsive community resources, enhance program visibility, and build strong collaborations with community-based organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, public relations, communications, human services, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in community outreach, program development, stakeholder engagement, or volunteer coordination
• Experience working within DV/HT, victim-services, housing, or human services settings preferred
• Knowledge of NYS social service regulations, community-based service networks, and nonprofit operations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and public speaking skills
