Steward

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is seeking a Steward to assist in the operation of the dining room and kitchen areas of the facility. The Steward will receive, store, and issue food products, equipment, and supplies, and maintain sanitary conditions and compliance with health department rules and regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred with relevant experience
• Certification in food handling is required or must be obtained within 2 months of hire
