Registered Nurse (RN), Visiting Nursing - Part-time 0.6

VON Canada is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their dynamic team in Campbellford, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and infants, and be interested in working the night shift. The Registered Nurse will provide client-centered care to individuals and families in their homes and community, and will be responsible for managing and coordinating care, evaluating health outcomes, and educating and counseling clients and families.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
• Canadian Nurses Association certification in Community Health Nursing (asset)
• Clinical practice experience (asset)
• Experience in community health (asset)
• Ability to observe and make effective assessment of clinical issues
• Ability to initiate and support health teaching, facilitation and development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal relationship building skills
• Ability to be independent with decision-making
• Ability to problem solve and to adapt nursing interventions as appropriate
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Capacity to adhere to strict confidentiality
• Effective time management skills
• Personal vehicle and driver's license
