Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Visiting Nursing - Casual

The Registered Practical Nurse provides client care in the client’s own home, providing physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, and counseling to individuals and families.

Requirements

• Must have a License as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice with certification in Palliative Care.
• Three years of experience in a community or acute care setting is required with a focus on palliative care preferred.
• Canadian Nurses Association certification in Community Health Nursing an asset
• LEAP training an asset.
• CAPCE or other fundamentals may be required based on funder requirements in area of hire.
