Oil Market Analyst

Vortexa is recruiting a Senior Oil Market Analyst to join their Market Intelligence team in Singapore. The role involves analyzing trade flows, supply, demand, and inventory changes in the Asia Pacific region, providing unique market understanding to clients, and working with a global team to build a complete view of the global oil and gas markets.

Requirements

• Proven expertise analyzing crude oil and/or refined products markets in a regional and/or global context (minimum 2 years of relevant experience)
• Solid understanding of supply/demand/macro market fundamentals, pricing structures as well as physical and financial trading strategies
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to articulate compelling, thought-leading market views both in writing and via presentation
• A results-oriented attitude, ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks with limited supervision
