Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of the cement plant in Bowmanville, Ontario, contributing to overall efficiency and safety of the facility. The role will involve supervising a team of maintenance operatives, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
- University Degree or college diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Certification in Maintenance Management or related field is an asset
- Valid Ontario trade certification (e.g., Millwright, Electrician) is advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in a cement plant
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience, in a unionized environment
