Transdev Ontario is recruiting for a Fleet & Assets Manager for our Kitchener base. The Fleet & Assets Manager is responsible for a wide spectrum of responsibilities dealing with company vehicles & maintenance facilities, including procurement, maintenance, financial management, and leadership.
Requirements
- Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Completion of a University or College education or equivalent
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role
- 310T, 310S or combined 310S/310T licence is preferred
- Experience working in a management capacity
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Analytical skills for evaluating shop operation processes
- Familiar with Health & Safety Act and National Safety Code
- Knowledge of purchasing policies
- Clean Criminal Record check
- Valid minimum Ontario G class drivers licence with a Clean Drivers Abstract
- ODP certification with A/C experience or are willing to obtain
- Experience and/or working knowledge of light-duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies
- Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
