Your field of activity
- As (Senior) Software Developer Java & Spring you develop and integrate distributed and highly scalable backend systems with Java / Kotlin / Spring / Quarkus based software – from REST service to persistence
- With your technological expertise, you advise our clients on agile software development projects
Depending on your experiences and your personal focus you have one or more of the follow skills – or you are keen to learn them at valantic STI:
- Coordination with clients and their requirements, e.g. in sprint refinements
- Evaluation of concepts and Proof of Concepts
- Design of backend architectures
- Design and development of highly available, cloud-native software systems, e.g. with Java or Kotlin in the AWS Cloud
- Frontend development with state-of-the-art JavaScript technologies such as Angular
- Development of continuous integration and deployment chains, e.g. with GitLab and Docker
- Maintenance and expansion of software in DevOps mode
- Occasional support for sales in project acquisition

- have already experience as a developer in agile projects with Java and Spring
- are curious about new technologies, trends, clients, projects, and approaches

- like communicating with clients and the exchange with other developers
- have no problem with travelling, but you don’t want to live in a hotel full-time

- feel like you are in better hands with a flexible medium sized company than in a large corporation
- have solid communications skills in English and German (written and spoken)
