Application Administrator responsible for application administration, technical end-user support, and change management for COTS and internally developed windows applications.
Requirements
- BSMIS, BSCS, BSSE BSIS or equivalent with 5+ years of experience
- Previous experience with application administration, technical end-user support, and change management
- Good understanding of three-tier COTS applications, internally developed software, Oracle/SQL Server databases, Windows application server tier, and web based client tier
- Must be familiar with software life cycle development methodologies
- Previous experience with writing and executing custom SQL queries against an Oracle or SQL Server database is required
- Proficiency in MS Office Products
- Experience with development for SQL Server or Oracle procedures is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, problem solving, technical analysis and documentation
- A willingness to work with teams, individuals, and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve application problems
- Must demonstrate the ability to learn new skills, adapt to changing environments and show attention to detail under tight deadlines
- Must have the experience and leadership skills to identify systemic problems and to provide solutions
- Previous experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic is preferred
- Previous development experience with C# is preferred
- Previous report writing experience with SSRS/Crystal is preferred
