Job Description
Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is seeking an experienced Network Administrator/Engineer for our Agency. The candidate will be responsible for support of our LAN/WAN environment.
Requirements
- Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in an Information Technology-related discipline or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience;
- Experience deploying and managing CISCO network equipment access and core layers within a distributed environment.
- Experience installing, configuring, and managing a network management solution. SolarWinds experience preferred
- Strong problem solving skills, self-management skills, and written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems or produce complex solutions, and ability to communicate and influence management and technical staff
- Strong project management skills preferred.
