Requirements

• Promote Safety and take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Operate Equipment and maintain a clean and safe driving record.
• Inspect and Maintain Equipment, including performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and accurately completing daily mobile equipment reports.
• Document and Record Information, including completing all forms, service reports, tickets, and required paperwork.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service.
• Perform General Physical Activities, including cleaning all areas on the vehicle, climbing a ladder to inspect loads of ready mix concrete, hanging mixer chutes, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Have a valid commercial driver’s license and DOT physical or be able to get one.
