Job Description
Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Diesel Apprentice - Heavy Equipment to join their team. The role involves promoting safety, repairing and maintaining mobile equipment, and performing general physical activities. The apprentice will attend trainings and travel to different locations, and upon completion of the program, they may be placed in a full-time role depending on regional business needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment
- Knowledge of general principles and practices of servicing heavy construction equipment
- Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate loud noises
- Mechanical skills and knowledge of industrial tools
