Job Description
Diesel Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel equipment used in aggregate production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics and be able to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and problems.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Troubleshooting of fuel system including ability to perform diagnostic test with manufacturer software
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems
- Inspect diesel equipment and related equipment for safety and compliance issues
