Job Description
Environmental Specialist at Vulcan Materials Company, responsible for identifying environmental requirements, conducting inspections and audits, developing training, and interacting with various groups to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Biology, or a similar technical area
- Previous experience in the environmental area is preferred
- Expertise in environmental regulatory compliance and numeric groundwater and surface water modeling
- Strong knowledge of the federal and state environmental regulatory process and experience with environmental regulatory areas (RCRA, CWA, CAA, TSCA, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interact well with all levels of personnel
