Job Description
Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will champion safety, oversee projects, train QC personnel, conduct testing, review test results, prepare reports, and troubleshoot field and jobsite problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of construction materials testing and be skilled in basic ASTM, AASHTO, and ADOT testing procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of construction materials testing experience
- Superior working knowledge in at least one product line
- Skill in all product lines
- Strong verbal communications skills
- Analytical skills in general statistical analysis, math, and engineering concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Oracle Business Environment, and other software packages
