Design Engineer

We're vvd, a company that makes tools for storytellers. We're looking for a Design Engineer to help us shape something real and empower human creativity. The role involves designing and implementing features end-to-end, working directly with engineering and product, and communicating directly with the team.

Requirements

• Experience in building and shipping real things
• Strong frontend chops (React, TypeScript, Next.js)
• Taste and aesthetic judgment
• Ability to go from a rough idea to a polished, interactive implementation
• Experience with AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
• Understanding of backend concepts (APIs, data flow, auth)
• Ability to build things with motion and interaction
