Electrician

W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. We are looking for several electricians with 3+ years of experience to work in Houston, TX.

Requirements

• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using such tools as a hacksaw, pipe threading machine, rules and conduit benders.
• Installing, modifying and fabricating cable tray accordingly to drawings & P&ID’s.
• Read and understand P&ID’s (symbols, tags and instrument lines), wiring diagrams and instrument loop drawings.
• Must have 3+ years of Electrical experience.
• Proven organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem solver, results focused, self-motivated.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work individually and on a team.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements listed below in harsh and/or stressful conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach with arms and use tools above/over the head.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist.
• Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
• Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
