Low Voltage Lead Foreman

Wachter is seeking a Low Voltage Lead Foreman for large construction and remodel projects across the United States. The role involves leading jobs with data, voice, alarm, video, and paging systems, and requires self-motivation and the ability to troubleshoot issues. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician in industrial/commercial space
• 5-7+ years of experience as a Lead/Foreman in Industrial/manufacturing environments
• Data Cable Technician with CAT6 cabling, fiber optic, 24v, and 70v paging systems experience
• Experience with CCTV, Fire, Security Systems, and Alarm Systems
• Experience installing Audio/Visual, Point-of-Sale systems, TV/monitor, or media players
• Knowledge of industry-specific certifications (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA) - requested and desirable
• Fiber optic training and certifications desired (AT&T, BICSI, CISCO, Corning, CNET, ETA, FOA, VERIZON)
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current OSHA 10/30 Certification
• Knowledge of working in Industrial environments
• Fluency in multiple termination types for multi-mode and single-mode fibers
• Knowledge of closeouts and MDFs/IDF/MCIC
• Ability to work in cramped spaces
• Basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
