Job Description
Wade Trim is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to join their Construction Department in Detroit, MI, Atlanta, GA, or Tampa, FL. This role focuses on improving infrastructure through cost estimation and constructability reviews, requiring a bachelor's degree and ten or more years of experience. The ideal candidate will advance cost estimating processes, train engineers, and seek out innovative solutions for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- 10 years or more of related experience
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and labor costs.
- Ability to estimate all types of municipal projects
- Familiar with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Able to take concept and schematic drawings and develop a meaningful estimate with detail
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong written and communication skills
