Job Description
Controls Technicians are responsible for the installation, alteration, and maintenance of HVAC systems and building management systems. They install and modify controls and instrumentation systems including low voltage and communication wiring.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completed apprenticeship or adult education (vocational program) or associate degree or equivalent from a technical/trade school with a certificate in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with laptop computer, Smartphone, iPad, etc.
- Basic HVAC and electrical knowledge
- OSHA Safety Certifications within 6 months of hire
- BAS Certifications (Tridium AX and N4)
- Experience working on multiple control manufacturers
- Working knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
