We're looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partner to champion high standards of health, safety and wellbeing across the Agency. In this role, you'll provide expert advice, drive continuous improvement, and embed a proactive safety culture across varied operational environments.
Requirements
- Subject matter expertise in Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Experience with HSW management systems and safety investigations
- Experience in working with contractors and third parties
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to present at leadership meetings and influence decision-making
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Diploma or Certification in Health and Safety (or working towards it)
- Knowledge of Te Ao Māori and promotion of tikanga and Te Reo Māori
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service
