Job Description
Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge seeks a Fitness Technician to implement exercise programs for senior living residents. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or equivalent and experience working in a healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or equivalent
- ACSM EP-C certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Current BLS certification
- Experience evaluating, designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for older adults
- Ability to organize work flow with timely follow-through
- Commitment to assisting seniors in developing to their fullest potential
