Shipping/Loader Operator

We're seeking a skilled and safety-focused Shipping Loader Operator to join our team at the Port Elgin Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for loading and moving aggregate materials efficiently while ensuring every shipment meets our high standards. You'll also have the opportunity to support scalehouse operations, giving you a dynamic mix of equipment operation, customer interaction, and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience operating a loader, preferably in a quarry or similar environment
• Valid G license in good standing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with routine equipment maintenance
• Experience operating a shipping loader or working in shipping logistics (asset)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Cash-handling and basic record-keeping experience
• Common Core training or equivalent quarry certification (asset)
• Comfortable with basic computer systems and data entry
