Job Description
WalkMe is an industry leader in digital adoption, and we're looking for a WordPress Web Development Team Lead to own the development and delivery of our web properties. The role is hybrid, combining technical project management, team leadership, and hands-on development. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in web development, strong WordPress expertise, and proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, and SQL.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in web development
- Strong WordPress expertise in custom themes, Gutenberg blocks, plugin development, and the WordPress ecosystem
- Experience in a multi-site or enterprise WordPress environment
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, and SQL
- Proficiency with Git workflows
- Experience managing sprints and working in agile environments
- Proven ability to write specs and requirements and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent)
- Strong communicator who can context-switch between code and conversation
