An Engineering Team Leader is required to lead a small team of engineers to drive effectiveness, reduce downtime, and increase productivity. The role involves developing and leading the team, ensuring daily maintenance activities are completed to a high standard, and taking the lead on complex maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Electrical or Mechanical engineering experience
- Fault Finding and Route Cause Analysis skills
- Knowledge and experience of maintenance preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- People Management Skills
- H&S knowledge e.g., PUWER, IOSH – able to ensure a safe working environment.
- Structured and practical engineering training (e.g. apprenticeship/HNC/degree).
- Coaching and mentoring skills, takes responsibility for the training and coaching of others.
- Analysing and problem-solving skills, anticipates problems before they occur and takes steps to deal with them/correctly and swiftly
- Communication and relationship building skills
