Job Description
The Associate BIT Engineer will provide facility-based support for the Broadcast & IT Support team, responsible for maintaining and repairing audio & video broadcast/IT equipment, performing technical support for critical/on-air production systems, and supporting upgrades of outside broadcast facilities.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of technology and practices necessary to perform maintenance, installation, and repair of broadcast and IT equipment
- Knowledge of broadcast and IT infrastructure, including technical spaces, associated production systems, and data networking
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems independently
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Shift work on a rotating schedule is necessary to meet the needs of customers
