Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Vice President, Studio Tours & Retail Technology to lead the global technology strategy for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Studio Tours, Retail, and eCommerce businesses. The role will be responsible for shaping the long-term technology strategy, delivering enterprise-grade platforms, and ensuring operational excellence across a multibillion-dollar global portfolio.
Requirements
- Numerous years of senior leadership experience in the media or technology sector, with a proven record of credibility, strategic vision, and executive presence
- Extensive experience in media and entertainment, including exposure to technology supporting Studio Tours, Theme Parks, Attractions, Retail Stores, eCommerce and/or Retail supply chain
- Demonstrated success leading complex, high-impact programs; strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and sound judgment in high-ambiguity environments
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills, effectively influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating across diverse teams and functions
- Skilled in organizational leadership, operational discipline, and guiding teams through shifting priorities in fast-paced environments
- Expertise in financial stewardship, including cost estimation, ROI analysis, and prioritizing large-scale technology investments
- Deep understanding of modern software development practices (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps) and the ability to guide teams in selecting and applying appropriate methodologies
- Strong technology acumen with a demonstrated commitment to staying current on emerging industry and technology trends
- Effective vendor and partner management; experienced in negotiating and overseeing service agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior executives and translating complex technical topics for varied audiences
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data & Analytics) or equivalent experience
