Join Wärtsilä Energy as an Expert E&A Technical Service and provide advanced technical expertise and support across Wärtsilä’s engine and automation systems, resolving complex technical challenges and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electric & electronics, automation, or mechatronics engineering
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Wartsila Products, particularly power plant automation, engine automation, HMI/SCADA platforms, and industrial networks
• Strong expertise in PLC programming, automation software, and industrial control systems
• Expert level knowledge of Wärsilä’s engine automation product (WECS 2000/3000/7500/8000, UNIC 1st Gen and UNIC 2nd Gen)
• Mandatory experience with Wärtsilä 4-stroke engines and associated plant automation systems & auxiliaries
• Apply knowledge of industrial networking technologies, including IP networks, ring topologies, switches, and routers
• Apply knowledge of industrial frequency converters, relay protections, AVRs
• Proven ability to work independently in dynamic and demanding field environments
• Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on results
• Excellent communication and technical reporting skills
• Strong team orientation with the flexibility to collaborate across global and multicultural teams
