Wärtsilä is seeking a Team leader Transport & Customs to lead a team of transportation coordinators and oversee daily operational activities within the department. The role involves checking delivery and sales orders for accuracy, proposing improvement plans, and informing the organization about transportation market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor level and 3+ years of experience in leading a transport team
- Experience to determine the appropriate transport options and applicable resources for road, rail, water and air transport, and the transport insurance
- Expert knowledge of export documents and applicable legislation for creating export documents
- Knowledge of the quality, safety and environmental regulations for the national and international transport sector
- Good organisation and communication skills - ability to effectively make decisions
- A customer minded and service-oriented attitude with Can-Do mentality
- Dutch is the main communication language within the company, but due to our international network, fluency in English is required as well
