Job Description
The instructional faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities in the Nursing program.
Requirements
- Graduate degree or terminal degree in relevant subject is required
- Doctoral or terminal degrees preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from students, regulatory agencies, or members of the academic community
- Ability to effectively present information to various audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to collegiality
- Ability to solve problems
- Knowledge and use of computer and its applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
- Ability to deal with non-verbal symbolism
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
