Maintains supplies in X-Ray room. Follows established radiation safety guidelines ‘ALARA’ (as low as reasonably acceptable) in reference to time, distance and shielding.
Job Description
Under general supervision, performs various radiographic procedures. Performs a variety of technical tasks involved in operating radiographic equipment and making radiographs of designated portions of the body. Assisting in the management of back-office patient flow in regards to imaging.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required
- 2 years of experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred but not required
- Current C.R.T. (Certified Radiology Technologist) with the State of California
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiology Technologists)
