Job Description
The Nursing Director is an administrative level manager for one or more specialty care areas within the Patient Care Services Division. He/she assumes responsibility and accountability for the overall functioning of assigned units/programs/service, working in cooperation and collaboration with management nurses assigned to each unit/program/service to assure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Current California RN license required.
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or equivalent degree preferred.
- Certification Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
- Five (5) years nursing practice within the Emergency Department as a staff RN required.
- Demonstrated 5 years of progressive supervisory and leadership experience in Emergency Department nursing leadership required.
Benefits
- Salary Range: $101.85 - $142.58
