Job Description
As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you will provide services to business clients, develop relationships with large middle market businesses, and manage a portfolio of commercial relationships. You will have the opportunity to generate revenue, utilize sales expertise, and structure and present credit analyses. You will also retain and grow existing customer portfolio, develop and maintain knowledge of commercial loan products, and participate in networking functions and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or other related field
- 5 - 8 years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development
- Proven ability to develop and manage large and complex new business relationships
- Excellent relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills
- In-depth understanding of local markets (RI, CT, and/or MA)
- Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to underwrite and structure commercial credits
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to commercial lending, appraisal guidelines, and due diligence methods
