Deputized Police Officer - Law Enforcement Operations

The work of the commissioned police officer involves responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals and the general enforcement of laws, ordinances, and university policies. Duties normally consist of routine patrol, preliminary investigation and traffic regulation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
• Active Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) - State of Missouri license or eligible for licensure in Missouri at the time of hire
• Certified Police Officer (1 Year)
• Must be able to pass a physical agility test
• Motor Skills/Flexibility
