Research Technician II - Pathology & Immunology

The Ackerman lab studies molecular mechanisms underlying neural plasticity and neurodegeneration using zebrafish and fruit fly model systems. The lab uses traditional and cutting-edge genetic strategies to identify new mechanisms used by glial cells to sculpt brain wiring and understand how this contributes to neurological diseases.
