Job Description
A Research Technician II position is available in Dr. Doug Chalker's group to carry out key activities of the Tetrahymena Stock Center. The individual filling this position will carry out routine procedures, develop new research tools, and collaborate with researchers to develop strains to carry out research projects.
Requirements
- Conducts experiments and routine procedures.
- Maintains records/reports.
- Collects data from experiments.
- Performs data analysis.
- Writes interpretative reports/summaries.
- Conducts literature searches.
- May contribute to design of experimental protocols and research.
- Orders lab supplies.
- Orders/maintains chemical inventories.
