The Operations & Facilities Management Department (OFMD) at WashU Medicine provides essential services that sustain the medical campus’ mission of excellence in patient care, research, and education. The department manages the maintenance and operation of more than 65 buildings, encompassing over 14.8 million gross square feet. The Response Officer II (Days) position serves as the primary first responder to all life safety and protection of property, emergency, and non-emergency incidents on campus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- St. Louis Metropolitan Security License - St. Louis City/St. Louis County, St. Louis Metropolitan Security License - within 30 days of hire - St. Louis City/St. Louis County
- Security Officer In A Professional Security Organization (2 Years), Armed Officer In An Academic Environment Or Civilian/Military Police Setting (1 Year)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a St. Louis Metropolitan Security License within 30 days of hire
- Must obtain and maintain a Missouri Class E or Illinois Class D Driver’s license within 30 days of hire
