RN Staff Nurse II - Pediatrics

Join our team with WashU Pediatrics as a Staff Nurse II and support our outpatient, pediatric multi-specialty clinics. Provides specialized patient care and education for patients receiving treatments, examinations, etc., in a medical office according to established procedures.

Requirements

• Perform and document assessment of the patient/family
• Directs and/or provides patient care, which may include administering medication, performing procedures and monitoring patient status
• Provides appropriate counsel and education to patients/family regarding disease process and symptom management
• Maintains medical records requiring appropriate and timely recording of patient information
• Consults with members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
