Procurement Buyer

Water Mission is a Christian engineering nonprofit seeking a Procurement Buyer to purchase direct materials and indirect services. The role involves vendor management, cost savings activities, and maintenance of accurate vendor records in the ERP system. This is a full-time position based in North Charleston, SC, requiring a strong Christian witness, negotiation experience, and proficiency in English.

Requirements

• Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Alignment with Water Mission’s Statement of Faith and core values
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Fluency in English required; proficient in Spanish preferred
• 3+ years of purchasing experience required
• 1+ years of negotiation experience required
• Working knowledge of an ERP system, NetSuite preferred
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory planning best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
