Material Handler

Role Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.

What You Will Do

Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments. Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock audits.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Previous 2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required). Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous 2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required)
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods

Benefits

• Wages start at $20 per hour and based upon experience
