Material Handler

Role Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production operations.

What You Will Do

Operate various types of material handling equipment, perform daily safety inspections, load and unload trucks, store and retrieve pallets, stage materials, move and manage WIP pallets, maintain organized storage areas, perform inventory cycle counts, and complete required safety documentation.

This position requires a team-oriented mindset, basic computer literacy, mathematical skills for inventory counting, knowledge of warehouse management systems, and understanding of safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain forklift certification)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing environment a plus
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment assessment
• Drug screening required
• Background check required

Benefits

• Additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only (6pm to 6am)
