Requirements
- Plan and execute material requirements for assigned Data Center products and suppliers.
- Convert demand signals and supply plans into purchase orders.
- Manage order placement, rescheduling, and cancellations as needed.
- Track open orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Manage day-to-day communication with Data-Center-specific suppliers
- Support procurement activities across a supplier base representing approximately $50M in spend.
- Monitor supplier lead times, order confirmations, and delivery performance.
- Follow up on late or at-risk orders and drive resolution with suppliers.
- Escalate supply concerns when needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and support alignment with planning parameters such as safety stock or reorder points.
- Help maintain appropriate balance between service levels and inventory investment.
- Identify potential shortages or excess inventory and take corrective actions.
- Support the weekly S&OE process by providing updates on material availability and supply risks.
- Maintain accurate data related to open orders, past due items, and projected shortages.
- Partner with the Supply Chain & Execution Manager to ensure alignment between plans and execution.
- Work with Sourcing on supplier-related topics such as capacity or lead time changes.
- Coordinate with Logistics to support shipment timing and priority decisions.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Planning teams to align supply with production needs.
